I am having issues decrypting a file using the built in decrypt functionality with VisualCron. I created a new PGP key ring and imported the private key (no public key). I then enter the password needed to decrypt the file but when I run the job it displays the error: "PGP File decryption error: No appropriate OpenPGP secret key for decryption found". It appears there are other people that have reported the same error on the forums here but I was unable to get a solution after reading their topics. The user is able to manually decrypt the file using Cryptophane and the key provided by the individual.

Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do? We are on version 7.7.0.

From the component we use we can find that there are two reasons for this:

1. the wrong key is used. You can verify this if you import public key and try to encrypt and then decrypt with public
2. the wrong password for the key is used
