Hi,

Is that THE answer ?
Update to the latest version..., well too easy

I'm facing the same issue with VC 8.1.1 and full Windows updates on a Windows Server 2K12
I've tested with only one job and one task compressing a folder >10Go and the result was the same.

Waiting for a real fix.

Thanks in advance

Hi,
Thanks for your answer,

So not every time but most of the time, when the task has been launched, it returns failed but I do not catch why exactly.
The folder I want to compress on the remote Server = 13.3Go
It contains about 70K files in it.

It could be bearable if this bad exit wouldn't make the entire app crash, but instead, it makes the VC service crash and sometimes, we've to reboot the server cause we can't reload the service.

and as I told previously, my test is isolated on a WServer 2k12, full updates (Windows and VC) there's only one task in VC.

Thanks,
regards,
