I note the jobs.xml file is extremely large, containing @ 300 elements making it very hard to hack!
What I want to know is, is it possible to hack it?
Is it feasible to tool around with jobs.xml?
We have 300 or 400 jobs that are all of a similar nature, so creating a JobClass template shouldn't be too difficult. And as is common with XML, only a tiny percentage of the pay loads change - e.g job name, job id, command line, frequency. Would be nice to generate a set of jobs based upon a generic JobClass and a set of given parameters to load VC.

Hi Steve,

it is quite easy to use the VisualCron API to create Jobs on the fly. Which system are you importing from. Maybe we can give you some more information. Please send an email to support@visualcron.com
