I'm setting up a replacement VisualCron server with the latest version (8.2.6) and am running into issues with an FTP TLS connection.
protocol type: FTL TLS Explicit (AUTH TLS)
Authentication: Password
A certificate is used.
When trying to connect with the explorer, I receive the message "Error occured while enabling SSL/TLS on command channel"
When perforing a refresh in the explorer, this is followed by a "Control channel transfer error (error code is 10054)"
I also tried the brute force test, resulted in 0 succcesful connections.

Using winSCP I have no issues to connect to the server and to exchange files.

I've created a test job with one "list file(s)" task to get as much information as possible, see the attached doc.
  ftp_tls_issue.doc (75kb) downloaded 52 time(s).

Any help is highly appreciated!

Perhaps you can send some connection details to our developers so they can see what happens. Please send to support@visualcron.com

Hi Support,

After some more testing we've got it working. 😂
it's due to TLS 1.0 which is not supported for our testenvironment. This was still checked in the connection.
So for now, it's all good.
our settings now:

but....

As we were trying to make this connection work, we used the 'brute force test' tool...
This tool wasn't able to find the right settings for this connection. Can it be extended so it's also tries to connect with different SSL/TLS versions?

Regards,
Erik
