I wanted to give a user rights basic read-only rights for the jobs and tasks and found out that he unmapped a network drive accidentally. Is there no security permission to prevent him from map / unmap drive?

That is right, we have not permission for that yet but could add it. I am moving this topic to Feature requests forum.
