Hello:

I have a VC Server 8.4.1 running in a W2016 box. The VisualCron service is started with a domain account, who has local admin rights on the server.
The VC server has the domain authentication setting enabled.
From time to time, the domain users cannot connect to the service from their computers. If I connect in the console to the service with the local admin user of VC, it works. But the service doesn't admit domain connections.
The only way to enable the connections is restarting the service (not the server).
It only happens in servers with W2016. I have old W2003 servers with lower VC versions and configured in the same way, and it never fails.

Any idea why is this happening?

Thanks to all.

Not sure why it is happening but you should enable Extended debugging in Server settings. Then after failure you look at log_serverDATE.txt - it should contain why.

Hello:

The setting is enabled. But there's not log_serverdate.txt file since mid February. I think it was the last time I updated the VC server version. I
Same happens in other server with version 8.4.2.

Thanks

Most likely you are looking in the wrong folder. Please check Server settings->Folders and check the log folder there.
