Is there anyway we can control the Server On/Off feature? I have had several of my team members click Server Off and forget to turn it back on. Either via API or vccomand would work?

You can disable Edit Permissions on Settings to prevent this.

I want the users to have permission to do this. The problem is we have to turn VisualCron off to run a VPN job that will disconnect the network from other scripts.

Here is what we do.

1. Click Server Off
2. Run VPN script. 10 minutes later its done.
3. Click Server On

What happens is sometimes we (users and myself) forget step 3 because we went and did other things while VPN script is running. What would be great is if in the VPN script it can turn Server off and when complete turn it back on.

Yes, it would be possible to call this from a script.

Can we get an update on this question? The inability to do this is causing disruptions in our workflow.

Please look at the API/Samples folder for a .NET sample on how to do this. There is also some Powershell examples but not all methods are displayed there.
