I am trying to create a job to send the Job Results report daily, but I cannot set the date range on the report task to be yesterday. I can only specify exact dates, I tried entering {DATENOWADD(Days|-1|M/d/yyyy hh:mm tt)} but it does not work.

A date range report, which you can generate from the Payments page in Seller Central, is a custom report that allows you either to select a month to include in the report, or to choose specific start and end dates for the data included in the report.
