Since we have updated our Servers to Version 6.1.2 we cannot use the Delete File - Feature on Network-Shares.

We adress the file though the \\server\share\subfolder - Pattern.
Once hitting Test - show filtered Files the Server goes to 100% CPU and does not come back until we kill the visualcron-Service.
This is reproducable on all our installations.

Is there any help available?

Kind regards,

Hi Claus,

I do not have 6.1.2 installed, but I tested it in the latest beta from 6.1.3 and I had no issues with the delete file task.

I used also \\server\share\path\ as the directory.

Did you saw something in the server log of Visualcron or in the event log of Windows?

Regards
Erik

It could be related to the Credential that you use. Try unchecking "Local logon" and "Load profile".

Dear Henrik,

both checkboxes (local and load profile) are unchecked.
I have also tried the Administrator-Credential.
The network-share is rechable from visualcron during setup of the job.
When I click on Test - Show filtered Files the visualcron-application goes into 100% CPU-Usage and does not come back.
This is reproducable on both server-installations on different machines.
When I run the task, I have the same bahavior.

Is it worth to try 6.1.3 beta?

Kind regards,

Claus

It is a big difference that it is reachable from the client/desktop mode. The Credential should be a user that exist on the remote share. Not a local user.

We used the version 6.0.8 for a long time, when we decided to upgrade to 6.1.2 last thursday.
The job did run successful for months.
Of course, the user is well known on the network-share.

Since the upgrade is in the system, we have those issues.

Please turn on Extended debugging in Server settings->Log. Then hit test once and send us log_serverDATE.txt to support@visualcron.com.
