Hi,

Is it possible to create a single task which monitors all of the tasks for inactive triggers?

Thanks

Yes, there is the VisualCron Trigger which can monitor for inactivation of Triggers.

Thank you. Is there a way of reactivating a trigger automatically?

Not yet, we plan to add this soon as an option in the Job/Task control Task.

Do you know which version the re-adding of triggers will be availble in?

Hi Henrik

I was trying the 'Trigger Expired' Visual Cron trigger and I can't seem to force it to Fire.

I have set a very simple job with a VC Trigger which monitors the Local Server for a 'Trigger expired' event (selected in the parameters). The job should then send an email via the email task to inform me that a trigger is inactivated.

I then try inactivating a 'File Trigger' in another job which I would expect to trigger the email job, but nothing happens.

IF I select a different VC Event Trigger, i.e. 'Job Updated', and then change another Job on the local server, then the VC Event trigger does fire. It just doesn't seem to recognise the Trigger Expired event.

Am I missing something obvious here?

Cheers

Currently we have removed Trigger deactivated calls if a Job is updated. It is quite complex because every time a Job is updated the trigger is first deactivated and then activated - even though the trigger status is not changed yet. The idea is that these kind of changes should not trigger the event - but only when it is deactivated other way. We will go through, test and decide what to do and how it should work when we implement the Trigger->Activate and Trigger->Deactivate in the "Job/Task Control Task". This will be pretty soon, probably next week or the week after that.

That's great news Henrik as the issue with inactivated triggers and lost connections (I think this was raised elsewhere as well) has become a major challenge for us.
