I have a job that kicks off at 5PM. Inside the job, are four tasks. Task 2 can only begin if/when Task 1 is successful. I would like tasks 3 and 4 to run at the same time if/when Task 2 is successful. Is this possible? I know there is a 'run tasks in order' option at the job level.

Job Hello
Task 1 >> Task 2 >> Task 3 + Task 4

No, but you could work around it by using Job/Control Task. In that second Job where you place Task 3 and 4 you can uncheck "Run Tasks in order".

Thank you for the reply.

I see the Job/Control Task, however I do not see a place where I can add task 3 and 4, nor do I see a 'run tasks in order' inside my Job Control Task (unless Run Synchronous is the same). I googled quiet a bit but could not find any answer.

Thank you

You create another Job where you keep Task 3 and 4. Then use the Job Task control Task and select Run Job and select this new Job with Task 3 and 4.

Thank you I will give that a shot.

Any idea why this didn't work?

Job Hello, kick off at 10am
run Task 1..batch file........ then
run Task 2..Job/Task Control.. on the flow tab, I clicked add, 'on start', go to task 3, did not check 'run following tasks in order'

Any idea why at 10am, task 1 fired off, then task 2 fired off, but task 3 didn't fire off at the same time with task 2?

Flow is partly disabled among other things when running with "run following tasks in order" unchecked.
