Hi
We've been using Visualcron 7 for quite a while now to execute batch files for synchronization purposes between
our Point of Sale and ERP system.
Suddenly on Friday the schedules stopped to execute correctly.

The job starts and immediately ends without actually running the batch file.
There was no recent Windows updates or changes on our domain.

I upgraded to the newest version 8.1.0 but the problem persist.
We use the product on more than one server and the other instances are running fine.

Can somebody please assist me?

Regards
Pierre

I moved your topic to 'General Problem solving' instead of the FAQ area (used by support). I apologize, I didn't make note of what your topic was called so i just put " job starts and immediately ends"

It sounds like you need to add more logging to your application. In this case, if it has worked before, I think we can safely assume that some kind of parameter has changed. A value is missing or something has changed in the Windows environment. More logging from the creator of the application should lead to the solution.

Thank you for your feedback!

I went through the log files and found the following error in the "log_trayclient".
Error in PingCheck, err: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Can you please assist in what this means and how to fix it?

Thank you!
