Hallo I am facing an issue which I consider as a bug of visualcron. I have a job that is triggered if a txt file exists in a network path. When the network path is lost because of a network related problem, the trigger gets inactivated Below is the error message I get "A trigger was inactivated due to an error: The network path was not found. The trigger was connected to the job : <name of the job>"
This job has to execute in non working hours and it is not possible for a person to reenable it when it gets inactive.
Is there a solution for this ?

As someone can restart any remote server any time and it may take some minutes for the server to get up I suggest you alter the reconnection times and reconnection attempts values in the file trigger for as long as you need. |

I entered 500 in "On error reconnect attempts" and 500 in "On error reconnect interval (seconds)" which are the maximum values to accomplish not to get untriggered for the maximum available downtime.
Thank you.

There is a purpose of not entering a to high value. We are talking about seconds of down time here.
500x500 = 2500 = 50 minutes
Of course you can use that value, or a higher value, but I as an administrator would like to set reasonable limits so I will get notified if a server is down to long or similar - not just override errors. |

Dear Henrik, 500x500 = 250.000 seconds = 69 hours.
As for being noticed for the downtime of the servers, we have a dedicated system to monitor all the systems in our infrastructure, so it is not an issue for us..
Thank you in advance
