Hi,
After cloning a file copy task, changing the cloned path I received this error:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

After the client restart, the cloned task was gone in the job where I pasted the task in.
It was back in the original job (where I copied the task) at the bottom of all the tasks.

Where did you clone it from, from Add/Edit Job or main view?

Hi,

It was in the main view.

Here are the step I did:
  1. I copied task tA (file copy) from jA CTRL+C
  2. I pasted in jB CTRL+V
  3. I copied task tA from jA CTRL+C
  4. I pasted in jC CTRL+V
  5. I opened jB, changed the task order, opened the cloned task, changed the name and changed the source path, than the client chrashed.

Erik

hmm..could not reproduce this. I did exactly as in description. I think only step 5 is vital and what order a Task had before changing it and what you changed to. Then the error will happen after any edit (you do not have to change - just press ok).

We are handling this and added more logging in this version:

http://neteject.com/down...Cron/VisualCron6.1.4.exe

You only need to install the Client to reproduce this. Please install this one on your desktop machine and try to reproduce this.
