Running VC Service on Windows 7 box in an Active Directory Environment under a specific AD User and NOT the local system.

We have now had to stop and restart the VC service and specify the AD user 3 times in the past 3 weeks as the VC service appears to randomly revert back to a local service.

Has anyone experienced this?

It does not make much sense. What is important to know is that the service needs to be restarted in order to change the user that runs the service. So, to track this down backwards you might want to check your event logs when the service has been restarted.
