Hi

We are encountering issues <intermittently> where a file based trigger is firing the same job twice for the same file. This would not be a problem but the jobs are running concurrently, even though they are setup to run one at a time.

We have seen this on multiple versions (currently 6.1.8).

Other Forum responses have suggested a restart of the service (which we are doing nightly) but this is not a solution as it is still occuring.

Can you reproduce this? If so, please perform the following steps:

1. upgrade to the latest version
2. let the file trigger
3. send log_serverDATE.txt to support@visualcron.com, include a screenshot of File Trigger settings and let us know the Job name

Will Do.

We currently have 6.2.0 on our test server.

This will be deployed to Production, testing all going well Monday 25/02.

We will monitor, and forward a log when it reoccurs, but as I indicated it is intermittent . . . . so no we can't easily / repetitively reproduce.

In the interim I have forwarded the Server Log for 20/03 which has the error occuring at 7:00:08.

Based on our Job Configuration this should not happen (but you will note that around this error the other files have processed correctly / sequentially one trigger / job at a time):

Completion of Prior Job run on trigger followed by Duplicate Jobs started in error

20/03/2013 7:00:07 AM Info Job completed: Commbiz BPAY PAYM File Retrieval
20/03/2013 7:00:08 AM Info Job started: Commbiz BPAY PAYM File Retrieval
20/03/2013 7:00:08 AM Info Job started: Commbiz BPAY PAYM File Retrieval

We have confirmed that it triggered / was trying to process the same file twice (not two different files).

Thanks, forgot to say that you need to enable Extended debug logging in Server settings->Log.
