[Solved] Impersonation Error - VisualCron

Hi Henrik,

I still have the Impersonation error in version 4.9.35. I will post a log of the server in this post.

The job is a queued job with a file trigger on a unc path on created file names. I checked the subdirs and trigger when the file is released.
The job has one task and that is to append text to a local file. The credentials I use have rights for both places.
If this task failes I set it up to wait 1 sec and try it again (max 50 times).
The file write task uses variables from the trigger:

{STRING(Replace,{TRIGGER(Active,LastTrigger,File.Result.TriggerFolder)},{TRIGGER(Active,LastTrigger,File.Folder)},)}
and
{TRIGGER(Active,LastTrigger,File.Result.FullPath)}

Strange thing is that when the server restarts the error is gone for a while, but after x copies it is back. And if it's back, i't is never going away till I stop/start the VC service (services window of microsoft).

One other strange thing is that the task is doing his task. He appends data to the file with the corrent variable content. So everything looks fine, but now I have for every trigger the same entry 50 times in the file if the error has occured. So there are single lines when there's no error and 50 if the error occured.

Any idea?

It works fine for a while, but than out of the blue it's there again. This morning I had a hudge issue with this failure and had to do manual FTP transfers... darn..

I hope you can fix this one.

Yes, so it looks, but....

yesterday with version 4.9.35 I had an issue that the errors keep comming up.

etc... for over 22 hours

This went on to today, so the whole day yesterday, overnight, till this morning when I stopped the service to stop this process.
In the morning the files where the trigger should trigger on did not work (the error was still comming up that time) and there was not file created (or append to).

This kind of failure (continue errors in the log for 22 hours) is the 1st.

Hmm.. I wonder if it is anything special with that user you use? Can you try using another user? When did all this start?

This error came up when the queued job was introduced. Before that I did not have this kind of job. I could not use the file trigger for bulk copies becouse I could miss a file.
I have an other user to test with, so I will set this up to check.

Thanks, I'll try this one.

This morning I did not have the error (4.9.37). I had used a different user for the file trigger and file write task.... hmmm So it it the user than....

I'll try this version also.
