My data center is located in a geographically separate area many miles away. Most of the time connectivity is excellent. Sometimes it slows down though, and the VC client on my desktop is timing out waiting for the jobs to load from the server. There are currently about 60 jobs. The error is Connection failed to 'xxx'.Connection failed with error 'Expected reply has not been received within time period.'. Do you want to try reconnecting? Is it possible to adjust the length of the timeout, or have another option like "Is WAN server" in the server setup kind of like the "Is local server" option. I am not sure if you are connecting locally or remotely. You are talking about "Is WAN server" which basically is the same as unchecking "Is local". There is no timeout option yet. Please request that in the Feature requests forum.
Have you tried "Use compression" setting? |

I enabled the compression setting, and everything seems to be working fine now.
Thanks for your help.

Apologies if I just missed this but....
Why doesn't there appear to be any documentation of the Sharepoint tasks and how to use them? There is no reference at all regarding Sharepoint in the current docs.

Hi, I feel like you really need to add more information about the Powershell task. Personally, I'm having trouble figuring out how to run a Powershell script correctly, the behavior of the Powershell Task varies alot, especially when I'm importing modules in the script, such as AD module, Exchange etc. I usually end up with just execute task, where i add: C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Powershell.exe -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File "C:\SCRIPT.ps1"
Using the normal Powershell Task will usually give me a lot of crazy errors. Windows Server 2008R2 x64, VisualCron 7.2.1, Powershell Version 3.0.
