In the previous API post, support talk about development of a remote agent for remote execution of tasks. Do you have a timeframe on when you think this feature would be implemented? I agree that the remote execution of tasks in it's current form is weak and VisualCron would be a much more appealing product if it could truely handle remote execution of tasks on it's own.
